Victoria man killed in Goliad County truck accident

Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety are still trying to find out how it came to be that 23-year-old Victoria, Texas resident Kenneth Tanner Moore lost control of his truck and crashed at around 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4 on State Highway 239 in Goliad County.

Department of Public Safety spokesman, Trooper Ruben San Miguel, said Moore had been traveling east along State Highway 239, around 1.25 miles east of Farm to Market Road 2442, when he somehow lost control of his white 2008 Ford F-250, causing him to veer onto the shoulder and hit the guardrail. Moore then tried to control the vehicle and made a series of over corrections, causing the car to flip two and a half times before it came to a final stop.

Moore was declared dead due to blunt force trauma at around 11:35 a.m. that same day by Goliad County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Susan Moore.
